First published in 1953, Tharunka is the longest running student newspaper of the University of New South Wales. It’s the political, social and cultural journal for the student voice on campus and has provided regular news to students at UNSW’s Kensington campus, and the College of Fine Arts (COFA) in Paddington. In 2012, Tharunka will also be distributed in the Foyer of the Parade Theatres at the National Institute of Performing Arts (NIDA).

Tharunka is published six times per session and with a print run if 4000 copies, reaches approximately 15000 students on campus.
